In what may be termed as one of the worst fallout of the battle between two group of actors surrounding the upcoming elections, actor and the incumbent President of the Sangam R.Sarathkumar accused Kamal Haasan of being ungrateful.

A couple of days back Kamal Haasan made clear his support for the rebel group of actors who would be contesting the elections against the incumbents.

Reacting to this Sarathkumar in his interview to a private news channel has said that Kamal Haasan is an ungrateful to those who have helped him in times of need. Stating that it was him (Sarathkumar), Radharavi and actress Radhika who went to Kamal's house and stood by his side when he announced that he will leave the country out of frustration caused by the ban on 'Viswaroopam'. Sarathkumar also pointed that he spent 36 hours without rest in resolving the issues blocking the release of Kamal's 'Uttama Villain' though he is no way connected with the film and stated that Kamal did not even cared to thank him for such efforts.

Sarathkumar requested people to think, what would be the intentions of the team endorsed by such a person even if he was a big star like Kamal Haasan.

Sarathkumar further accused Kamal of trying to split the Sangam and stated that the Pandavar Ani acts on his behest. The rebel actor's Presidential candidate Nasser has however denied this charge stating that they are adults with ability to think and act.
