Popular South Indian Actress Nikita Thukral will be getting married to a Mumbai-based industrialist Gagandeep Singh Mago in this auspicious Dussehra weekend.

The actress has sprung a surprise to her industry colleagues, fans, and media by making this announcement in an interview to a leading English daily.

Gagan is the son of Mahinder Singh Mago, leading industrialist and former Vice President of Youth Congress,

Nikita had met Gagan at a cousin's wedding last December and the duo fell in love at first sight. Then the duo obtained the consent of their parents. The families met in somewhere around summer 2016 and formalised the wedding plans.

The wedding reception and the traditional wedding ceremony will be held on Saturday and Sunday (October 8 & 9) respectively at a Five Star Hotel in Mumbai. Family members, friends and Nikita's industry colleagues from Tamil, Telugu and Kannada film industries are expected to grace the occasion.

The to be wed couple have also finalised Bahamas as their honeymoon location.

Nikita was born into a Punjabi family and grew up in Mumbai. She made her acting debut in the Telugu film 'Hai' that released in 2002 and has been acting in Tamil. Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi films since then. Among Tamil audience, she is popular for her roles in 'Kurumbu', Chathrapathi' 'Vetrivel Shakthivel', 'Alexpandiyan' and the glamorous song 'Kodana Kodi' in director Venkat Prabhu's 'Saroja'.

The tall and talented actress has said she will continue acting in films post-marriage. She is presently busy shooting for the Kannada film 'Mukunda Murari' with Upendra and another film 'Raja Simha' and a few more films in Telugu and Malayalam.
