A bunch of Telugu speaking people have come to Kannada cinema and made a film ‘Saroja’. Saroja is a real life character in the family of Vijalakshmi Sridhar Banala. The tragedy of ‘Saroja’ is the base for this film subject.

A real life incident in Raichuru district Ghouse Nagar is the content for ‘Saroja’ Kannada film in the debut direction of Vijayalakshmi Sridhar Banala.
The close relative departure – that is ‘Saroja’ and reasons behind it – the effect of ghost forms the main focus issue in this film.

The audio CD of the film scored by Prajwal Krish for the songs penned by Dr Lekhak M Siddarth was released in the presence of veteran SK Bhagwan, Umesh Banakar, Rajalakshmi proprietor of Chamundesware studio, Dingri Nagaraj, Bank Janardhan, Shivakumar Aradhya, Adugodi Srinivas and team members of ‘Saroja’ on the dais.

It is Vijayalakshmi narration with prior permission from family members – Saroja is sister in law to Vijayalakshmi in real life. On the birthday of Vijayalakshmi the audio CD was released to the market.

Music director Prajwal Krish expressed thanks for the opportunity and Dr Lekhak Siddarth has written lyrics for all the songs in the film is also making debut as lyricist.

Veteran director SK Bhagwan appreciating the effort of newcomers today said the elders of cinema industry mixing would give better results. Bhagwan had come to audio release because his wife name is also Saroja. Recalling his students in cinema and TV, 250 of them are spread out. That is a good satisfaction in life he says. Sixty five years of cinema industry Bhagwan has completed and he is still strong in his profession.

Umesh Banakar VP of KFCC advised the team not to come in hurry to the theatres.  A policy from screening committee at KFCC is arriving at good solution to the rush of films he pointed.

In the camp of Dr Leelavathi for a long time Nagaraj organized the audio event and stood behind this film team.
