'Sarkaru Vaari Paata': Ticket rates hiked in Telangana

'Sarkaru Vaari Paata' is set to hit the screens on May 12. Last week, the Andhra Pradesh government issued an order stating that its tickets can be sold for an extra price of Rs 45 over and above the stipulated admission rates for the first 10 days by all types of theatres in all centres.
On Monday, the Telangana government issued an order giving further encouragement to the film. An increase of Rs 50 for the first week (till May 18) is allowed for most categories, especially single screens. AC single screens can sell the ticket at Rs 210. Multiplexes can sell the ticket for a maximum of Rs 354.
The film, starring Mahesh Babu, Samuthirakani and Keerthy Suresh, is produced by Mythri Movie Makers, 14 Reels Plus and GMB Entertainment.
Director Parasuram is kicked about the film. Mahesh today said in an interview that the first half is going to be superb, offering 45 minutes of mind-blowing entertainment. Also featuring Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju, Nadhiya and others, 'SVP' has music by Thaman, cinematography by R Madhi and art direction by AS Prakash.
