'Sarkar': Two weeks on, here are the exciting figures

Tamil superstar Vijay's 'Sarkar' has today completed two weeks at the box office. The AR Murugadoss directorial has scripted history by grossing about Rs 120 Cr in Tamil Nadu alone. Its worldwide gross is Rs 220 Cr, which is a bit more than what 'Rangasthalam' did earlier this year. And the film is expected to have a decent run till the release of '2.0'.
In Chennai, in 13 days, the film grossed Rs 13.59 Cr. In Malaysia, it mopped up a gross of USD 2 million, which translates to Rs 15.16 Cr. In the UAE-GCC segment, its 12-day gross is pegged at Rs 16.43 Cr.
Surprisingly, the Vijay-Keerthy Suresh starrer has done very well in Telugu as well despite damning reviews. The Telugu version grossed Rs 18 Cr in AP and Telangana, thereby becoming the biggest Vijay hit ever.
