Sun Pictures has just released the teaser of their magnum opus 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and starring Thalapathy Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The 1 minute 33 seconds cut is loaded with surprises and the most deafening one is Vijay as a villain and that too a corporate criminal. As Varu Sarathkumar's character warns he seems to be ruthless as he goes about globe trotting always finishing off his enemies. The fun starts as Vijay tells an expectant press that he is in India not to take over any company but cast his vote but the twist is someone else has already made use of his voting rights illegally.
The next few shots of the 'Sarkar' teaser unveil that there is a strong political thriller on the way with the right mix of ingredients such as romance, songs and fights all of which Vijay does with extreme ease. The final punch is what would have already sent the Thalapathy fans to a feverish pitch of joy "Get Ready Folks...Seek out your leaders in your hometowns...This is going to be our Sarkar".
A.R. Rahman's BGM is subtle and subdued while Girish Gangadharan's cinematography gets the mass commercial look spot on while veteran A.Sreekhar Prasad gives a to the point cut. On the whole A.R. Murugadoss packaged his teaser to perfection conveying what it needs to and is an absolute sell.
'Sarkar' has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as the lead pair while Yogi Babu, Varalakshmi Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi, Pazha Karuppaiah and Premkumar play pivotal roles. The film is slated for release on Diwali day which falls on November 6th.
