Following the 'Sarkar' story theft allegations issue director K.Bhagyaraj announced his resignation from the South Indian Writers Association (SWAN) and stated that he wanted to contest elections and get voters mandate. He had been unanimously nominated for the post after Visu's tenure ended a few months back.
SWAN has now released a letter refusing to accept the resignation of K. Bhagyaraj and have requested him to reconsider his decision and continue as the President. They have stated that all the executive committee members and general members have expressed over phone that they all want the celebrated screenwriter back.
