Breaking! ‘Sarkar’ story issue settled – Details

The plagiarism case regarding ‘Sarkar’ story filed against A.R. Murugadoss by Varun Rajendran came up for hearing today at the Madras High Court which was adjourned as both parties opted for a compromise.  When the proceedings resumed it was announced that the case has been settled out of court.

Sources reveal that Varun Rajendran will now get a mention in the opening that the story concepts are similar.  An undisclosed sum of money too has been paid to him according to reports.  It may be recalled that Varun demanded rupees thirty lakhs as compensation.

Thalapathy Vijay fans have started an all-round celebration on  social media as now all the decks have been cleared for a smooth release of ‘Sarkar’ on November 6th the festive Diwali day.  The film produced by Sun Pictures with music score by A.R. Rahman has Vijay and Keerthy Suresh as the hero and heroine while Varu Sarathkumar and Yogi Babu play important roles.
