After an outrageous success in director Atlee's 'Mersal', Thalapathy Vijay fans are eager with anticipation for his next movie for which A.R.Murugadoss is wielding the megaphone.

The film features Vijay and Keerthy Suresh in the lead roles. The duo is teaming up together on the same project after their outing in 'Bairavaa'. The film went on floors this January and the word is that the film is set for a grand festive release this Diwali.

Apart from this, the film's ensemble cast also includes Prem Kumar and comic actor Yogi Babu as well. Lensman Girish Gangadharan will be cranking the camera for this much anticipated movie and T.Santhanam will be handling the art department.

B.Jeyamohan has been roped in as a writer for the 'Thalapathy 62'. Academy Award winning music composer A.R.Rahman will be composing the music score for this film after his swaying composition for 'Mersal'. Editor Sreekar Prasad will be making the cuts for this movie .

The film is being bankrolled by Kalanidhi Maran under the production banner of Sun Pictures. It is expected that the film will release along with Thala Ajith's 'Viswasam' and 'Suriya36', so fans could be assured of a mega festive treat this year's Diwali.
