Seven of the top ten most influential hashtags on Twitter India 2018 belonged to south Indian movies, with Sarkar topping the list.
#Sarkar was followed by Ajith’s upcoming film #Viswasam, Mahesh Babu’s #BharatAneNenu, #AravindhaSametha, and #Rangashtalam. Rajinikanth’s #Kaala also made it to the top 10.
#Sarkar also topped the list of the most influential moments on Twitter India 2018, which took into consideration the conversation surrounding a particular topic. #Sarkar was followed by the famous #MeToo movement, #KarnatakaElections, #KeralaFloods, #Aadhaar, #JusticeForAsifa, #DeepVeer, #IPL2018, #WhistePodu, and #AsianGames2018.
