Thalapathy Vijay's 'Sarkar' directed by A.R. Murugadoss and produced by Sun Pictures released on Diwali and became a big hit. There was also huge controversies regarding the scenes depicting the throwing of flames the Jayalalitha governments freebies to voters and also the usage of the late CM's original name to Varalakshmi Sarathkumar's character in the film.
The ruling ADMK government objected to the scenes and cadres destroyed 'Sarkar' banners in theaters all across the state and shows we're stopped. Cases were also filed on director A.R. Murugadoss. At that juncture two persons claiming to be Vijay's fans released a video in which they we're carrying knives and sickles and threatened the ADMK government with dire consequences if they cross paths with their idol's. Police registered a case and have been on the hunt for the duo.
Yesterday the cops arrested Anishek of Vadapalani Chennai who recorded the video and Sanjay of Ennore one of the persons on the video. The other young man Lingesh is absconding and the cops are confident of arresting him any time now.
