High Court's order on A.R. Murugadoss arrest in 'Sarkar' issue case

As reported by us earlier on Friday the case of the Tamil Nadu government against director A.R. Murugadoss came up for hearing. This is in regards to the controversial scenes in 'Sarkar' movie starring Thalapathy Vijay in which scenes depicting the burning of government freebies such as grinders and mixers were shown. The usage of former Chief Minister Jayalalalitha's original name Komalavalli for Varalakshmi's character was also objected to by the ruling ADMK government. A.R. Murugadoss had sought the court that action should not be taken on him in yet another case filed by one Devarajan under three sections for criticizing the government schemes and misleading the people. The court has given an interim stay against any action against ARM and has also banned any steps by the police for the next six weeks in this regard.
