Thalapathy Vijay's blockbuster hit movie 'Sarkar' is on everyone's lips currently, right from politicians to social activists. One Devarjan has lodged a complaint with the Chennai Commissioner to book A.R. Murugadoss as an anti-national. He has cited a scene in which the director himself appears and throws mixers, grinders and fans into a raging fire to denote that people should reject freebies.
It is a known fact that the former chief minister Jayalalitha's government had given those household appliances free to voters during the 2011 election. According to Devarajan the action of Murugadoss throwing the freebies to fire is an insult to the people as well as the government. Further, the scene is instigating the people to resort to violence against the government as mentioned in the complaint.
