The shoot for the new Mukesh movie ‘Sarkar Colony’ has kicked off at the capital city. Directed by V S Jayakrishnan, the movie will tell a plot about a colony that houses government staffs only. The staff in this colony is quite different from the rest, as they never indulge in any sort of corruption or accept bribes. And hence they are forced to look for other parallel jobs to earn more money.

The movie tells how these side businesses affect the living of the members of the colony. Scripted by V C Ashok, the movie will also feature Devayaani, Suraj Venjaramoodu, Jagadheesh, Jagathy Sreekumar, Ashokan, Jafer Idukkky, Sona Nair, Nimisha and Seema G Nair. While Bichu Thirumala and Rajeev Alunkal pen the lyrics, MG Sreekumar does the music.
