Saritha returns

Richly talented actress of yesteryears Saritha is making presence in Kannada cinema every now and then. She returned after a long exile in ‘Dashamukha’ a few years ago. A few more came to her kitty from Kannada cinema industry. Saritha accepted a film of Ninasam Satish ‘Ayogya’ recently.

The one she has accepted now is in woman director K Chandrakala film ‘Chilam’. Chandrakala directed ‘Kwatle’ Kannada cinema in the past. She is now directing V Ravichandran son Manoranjan, Manu plays a Ganja smuggler role in this film.

After hearing to the story of Chandrakala, top actress Saritha consented to act in the month of June. Saritha is known for her emotional films in Kannada in the past. In films like Chalisuva Modagalu, Kamana Billu, Bhaktha Prahallada she was opposite Dr Rajakumar, the other unforgettable is ‘Malaya Marutha’ with Dr Vishnuvardhana.

Director Chandrakala is hoping to get Raghavendra Rajakumar on board in ‘Chilam’. The top Hindi actor Nana Patekar and Kishor are also in prominent roles.

Raghavendra Rajakumar is returning to acting after ‘Pakkadmane Hudgi’ (remake of Padosan Hindi film). Raghanna as he is affectionately known has given attention to the script from writer and director Chandrakala. Raghanna is back to acting after 14 years. Nana Patekar acted in Kannada film of producer TP Siddaraju with actor Yogi in ‘Yaksha’ directed by Ramesh Bhagavat.
