Jagapathi Babu was supposed to play a key role in Mahesh Babu's upcoming movie, 'Sarileru Neekevvaru'. As reported recently, the senior actor quit the project. Media reports said that it was due to some changes made to the script by Anil Ravipudi without taking Jaggu Bhai's consent. As a result of the changes, the length of his role came down. This was not to Jaggu Bhai's liking.
The director has today refuted the reasons and said that Jagapathi left the project due to "unavoidable reasons". "Jagapathi Babu garu loved the character in the movie and he always wanted to be a part of the project. He did not walk out of the film. Unfortunately, we couldn't make it happen due to unavoidable reasons. Looking forward to working with him very soon. Thanks for understanding the situation and for being friendly, sir," the 'F2' director said.
It's reported that Prakash Raj has stepped into Jagapathi's shoes.
Rashmika Mandanna romances Mahesh in this one. Music is by DSP and cinematography is by Rathnavelu.
Thanks for understanding and we respect you sir @IamJagguBhai #SarileruNeekevvaru ?? pic.twitter.com/4H67ev3g3m
