The premières of Sardaar Gabbar Singh were held on a mammoth scale on April 7. Cashing on the craze that the behemoth had been getting, the distributors went for many such early shows.

As a result, SGS mopped up a huge USD 616,000. This figure is next only to what Baahubali got last year.

It has to be seen as to how far SGS will manage to continue the momentum overseas. In all, it released in 43 countries.
