Saravanan to direct Puneeth Rajkumar

Director Saravanan of 'Engeyum Eppodhum' fame, whose 'Valiyavan' is hitting the screens this week, has moved to Sandalwood. His next will be a Kannada film, with top Sandalwood star Puneeth Rajkumar playing the lead.

According to sources, the Kannada movie will be an action entertainer and Sonam Bhajwa, who made her debut in Kollywood with romantic-comedy 'Kappal', will be the female lead.

Meanwhile, 'Valiyavan', which has Jai and Andrea Jeremiah in the lead, is hitting the screens this weekend. This too is tipped to be an action entertainer and Jai features a beefed up look.
