Tamil Nadu government gives new role for Bigg Boss 3 Saravanan!

Actor Saravanan who was one of the prominent heroes of the 90s, starring in movies like Pondaati Raajiyam and many more movies, later returned as a supporting actor, and went on to star in movies like Nandha, Paruthi Veeran and recently in Kadaikutty Singam.
The actor had been one of the contestants of the ongoing Biogg Boss season 3, and was conferred Kalaimamani award recently. Now the Tamil Nadu government has given him a honorary post. TN govt has been giving 7 lakhs rupees as subsidy for movies made with lesser budget.
Last year, 149 movies released between 2007-14 were chosen and subsidy was given, and this year the committee for selecting the movies has been formed, for selecting movies released between 2015-17, and this team headed by retired judge Kulasekaran will include actors Saravanan, Singamuthu, director RV Udhayakumar and Liaquat Ali Khan.
