Srikanth Deva, after a successful outing in Sivakasi, is back with Silambarasan starrer Saravana. As one would expect he seems to have carried from where he had left in Sivakasi coming up with fast and racy numbers.
Seemingly influenced by his father's (Deva's) style, Srikanth Deva has delivered what is expected of him. But what is worth-mentioning is his attempt at coming up with semi-western stuff.

Kadhal Keedhal (Silambarasan, Ranjith, Reshmi)
Being rendered by Silambarasan himself in the company of Ranjith and Reshmi, it's a perfect rap number penned on college life. A much familiar tune, it has perfect beat sure to find a place on the dance floors. Srikanth Deva hitherto known only for fast paced gaana numbers has proved that he can also come up with catchy song inspired by western music. Ranjith is very comfortable with such numbers. The youngster belts out an zinger.
Kadhal Suthudhe (Sadhana Sargam, Naresh)
This is again a racy number sung by Sadhana Sargam in the company of a newcomer Naresh. It's quite untypical of Sadhana Sargam to feature in such fast numbers. A set rhythm accompanied by foot-tapping beat, the song is sure to reach out to youngsters. Naresh is also not overawed. He proves equal to the task as fishes out the right nuances and comes up with the right inflexions at right moments.
Saa Poo Three Pottu (Anuradha Sriram, Harini,Karthik, Baby Vaishali)
For Srikanth Deva, coming up with an energetic number is no tough job. Such racy tunes flows quite freely from him. All what he needs is a catchy word in the beginning of the song and the rest is nothing but rocking music. When a singer like Anuradha Sreeram joins hands with him, the song takes the speed of Schumacher's Ferrari. Here Harini, Karthik and Vaishali accompany her.It is a festival of fantasy song as they go or the jugular.
Gori Tera (Silambarasan, Sunitha Sarathy)
Silambarasan sure has a way with words. They effortless troll off his tongue. He has some grip over semi-western songs. Check out this number. Though nothing much can be specified about the lyrics, it is the fast-paced music with catchy rap in between which makes the song count. And Silambarasan along with Sunitha makes it all fun and frolic.
Kadhal Vandhum (Prasanna, Saindhavi)
The odd man out in the album, so to say. Quite a slow and a melodious number, the soft lyric seems to overpower music that is unlikely of Srikanth Deva's style. Saindhavi is impressive touching higher scales easily.
Ennai Mattum Venam Sollathe (Sukhwindher Singh, Rita)
What else but a perfect 'dappanaguthu' can one expect when a singer like Sukhwinder Singh croons for Srikanth Deva's tune. A perfect gaana song targeting frontbenchers. An aura of Deva's touch is visible all through the song.
Srikanth Deva seems to have imbibed from his father the art of coming up with brisk numbers. Sure to click the audio-charts for its catchy tunes and rocking music.
