A successful movie is often remade in other languages. Especially in Tamil, a host of movies are today being remade from blockbusters in Telugu and Malayalam.

Adding to the list is Mammootty starrer Raajamanickyam.

The movie which was released this Ramzan in Kerala is having an excellent run and there is a demand in Tamil to procure the remake rights of the movie.

The buzz is that actor Sarath Kumar, who saw the movie was greatly impressed with the screenplay and has expressed his desire to do the Tamil version.

It may be noted that Sarath Kumar had acted in the lead role in the Tamil remake of Thenkasipattinam.

After completing his Thalaimagan, it is said that Sarath might begin the Raajamanickyam remake.
