Veteran actor Supreme Star Sarathkumar will be making a grand comeback to the Kollywood with the film titled as 'Rendaavathu Aatam'. This film will be written and directed by Prithivi Adithya who has directed some short films and worked as assistant director in the films such as 'Grahanam' and 'Thozha'.

Sarathkumar will be seen as a Police Officer in this crime thriller after a long time. The film is being bankrolled by Big Print Pictures.

The story revolves around incidents happening during a night show in a movie theatre. The word Rendaavathu Aatam means Night Show in movie halls. Sarath plays a practical and realistic cop and he will not have any heroic powers.

The shooting of 'Rendaavathu Aatam' will start from mid of June 2017.

This is the Tamil film, Sarathkumar has signed after two years after the release of 'Sandamaarutham' in 2015.
