‘Mersal’ which released this Diwali with Vijay in the lead role has been making news as controversies float around its GST reference. Many leading names from the film fraternity have been coming forward to support the movie’s cause.

Veteran actor and the leader of All India Samathuva Makkal Katchi Sarath Kumar has stated that ‘Mersal’ has been receiving unwanted political pressure even though there is no fault in the dialogues with GST references.

With ‘Mersal’ garnering support from all corners, it is expected that the issue will be resolved faster.
