The General Body meeting of the Nadigar Sangam was conducted yesterday, which was attended by the President Nassar, Vice Presidents Ponvannan and Karunaas, Treasurer Karthi and Secretary Vishal among many other members.

There have been allegations of misappropriation of funds to the tune of many crores by the former office bearers. Following this a decision was taken to temporarily suspend Sarathkumar, Radharavi and Vagai Chandrasekhar, who held the posts of President, Secretary and Treasurer respectively.

Today Nassar has filed a petition in the Madras court today stating that the police commissioner has not taken any action on the complaint given in March against Sarathkumar, Radha Ravi and Vagai Chandrasekhar with regards to the misappropriation of funds. A request has been made to the court to intervene and take necessary action.
