Actor, Politician and Former President of Nadigar Sangam, R.Sarathkumar questioned the silence of the new office-bearers of the Sangam over the Beep song controversy.

"Any film or song that insults women in any manner is unwelcome. There is no second opinion about that. But don't understand why the Nadigar Sangam President Nasser and the other office-bearers are maintaining silence over the entire issue. It is also strange to note that Beep song gets this many brickbats while many other songs like this that have been released officially, went unnoticed by those who vehemently oppose this song."

It is worth recalling that Silamabarasan who has sung the controversial song contested for the vice-president post on behalf of Sarathkumar's team in the recently concluded Nadigar Sangam elections.
