A couple of days actor and Nadigar Sangam President R.Sarathkumar had announced in his media interaction that he has filed a law-suit against actor Vishal, who spearheads the 'Pandavar Ani', planning to contest in the Sangam elections and also actor S.Ve.Sekar who has been supporting the rebel group of actors.

Sarathkumar's charge was that Vishal and Sekar had spread canards against him, claiming that he had amassed illegal money by signing a deal with the owner of a private mall to construct a mall in the land owned by the Sangam. The incumbent president of the Sangam had stated that he had filed a defamation suit against Vishal and Sekar claiming Rs.10 crores as a compensation to causing insult to his public image by spreading baseless rumors.

However Sarathkumar's Lawyer has confirmed that he has served a legal notice on September 23 to Vishal and Sekar asking them to tender an unconditional apology to Sarathkumar and the defamation suit will be filed in Court only if they fail to do so.
