Yesterday we had reported that the Nadigar Sangam has lodged a formal complaint against its former President R.Sarathkumar on the charges of mishandling of funds on account of his allegd failure to submit the books of accounts pertaining to the last few years of his Tenure.

Sangam's Trustee Poochi Murugan and Treasuer Karthi met the Chennai City Police Commissioner and lodged the complaint against Sarathkumar and two other prominent members of the previous administration of the Sangam.

In reaction to this Sarathkumar has voluntarily appeared in front of the Commissioner without the police summoning him. He has clarified his stand that he has already submitted all the audited books of accounts and documents of the Sangam to the new administration and also given replies in letter to all the questions raised by the present administration. The veteran actor also claimed that he is a sitting MLA and the leader of Political party who has earned a good name among people. He charged the Nadigar Sangam and Poochi Murugan of attempting to defame his name and filed a counter complaint to take action against Murugan.

Meanwhile popular actress and Sarathkumar wife Radhika has reacted to the complain against her husband.

She has said that the Nadigar Sangam Trust has never had any kind of income and it is ridiculous to state that the former President has swindled crores of funds from the Trust.

In her Twitter Page, Radhika said that making such baseless allegations shows the immaturity of the new administrators of the Sangam.

With all these undesirable developments, what we could conclude is that the pre-election battle between the old team lead by Sarathkumar and the new team spearheaded by Vishal, is far from over.
