Sarathkumar announces hunger strike

Veteran actor and the Samathuva Makkal Katchi leader R. Sarathkumar has announced that he would be sitting on a hunger strike protest demanding the setting up of the Cauvery Management Board by the Central government.

Sarathkumar has made a plea to all the people to break barriers of political differences, caste, creed, religion and language to participate.  He has also added that he had personally invited all the leaders, social activists,socially concious citizens, his friends and family members  to join hands.

The Sarathkumar protest will begin at the Government Guest House, Chepauk at 9 am and go on till 5pm.
