As the tense wait to know who will be our Chief Minister for the next four and half years set to continue for at least a few more days more and more people and politicians are coming out in open support for the continuance of O.Panneer Selvam as the Chief Minister as he claimed that he was forced to resign last week.

Actor and former MLA Sarathkumar who is also the President of Samathuva Makkal Katchi has supported Panneer Selvam. Veteran actor Ramarajan who is known to be a staunch loyalist of late CM Jayalalitha and another veteran actor Thiyagu who was formerly with DMK and later switched loyalties to AIADMK have also visited the house of OPS in Greenways Road, Chennai and offered their support to him.

Actor and former MLA of the DMDK Arun Pandiyan has also supported OPS to continue as CM.

OPS already claims the official support of at least eightMLAs and two MPs of the AIADMK party. This includes School Education Minister Mafoi Pandiyarajan. Party spokesperson C.Ponnaiyan also announced his support for OPS by late evening on Saturday.
