Actor Sarathkumar, one of the top heroes of the previous decade is now acting in supporting roles in many movies, and his daughter Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is equally busy acting in many movies in multiple languages including female centric movies playing lead roles.

In a recent interview, Sarathkumar has apologized to his daughter Varalaxmi, saying that he did not help when her debut movie Poda Podi was delayed and had release issues, and that she has earned a position in the industry by her own efforts and hard work, and called her a strong woman.

For the first time, Sarathkumar, Varalaxm and Radhika are acting together in the upcoming movie Perandhaal Parasakthi, and Radhika and Sarathkumar are acting together in Dhana's Vaanam Kottatum as well. Sarathkumar is also a part of Maniratnam's Ponniyin Selvan.
