Supreme Star Sarathkumar is co-starring with the young hero Amithash in the upcoming crime thriller 'Paramporul'. The film's trailer was launched in the presence of legendary filmmaker Mani Ratnam and his wife Suhasini in Chennai. Ace director Gautham Menon unveiled the trailer on social media.

Paramporul is an enthralling story focusing on the intriguing narrative of a corrupt cop (Sarathkumar) teaming with a young criminal (Amithash) to smuggle and make money with an 11th-century sacred idol in the black market. The female lead Kashmira Pardeshi plays an antique enthusiast caught up in this mishap. Paramporul releases on September 1.

The 2.5-minute video is filled with gripping moments and is sure to be an arresting thriller. The debutant maker Aravind Raj has touched on a distinct premise which hasn't been explored much in Kollywood. Yuvan Shankar Raja's musical score is pulsating, and Pandikumar's visuals are great with smart editing by Nagooran Ramachandran.
