'Paramporul' is an upcoming film revolving around the idol smuggling concept in Kollywood. It has Supreme Star Sarathkumar and Amithash in the lead roles directed by the newcomer Aravind Raj. Manoj and Girish have produced this movie under the banner Kavi Creations.

The makers announced yesterday that Paramporul is coming to the big screens on September 1. The supreme star plays a cop who involves with a smuggler (Amithash) to make money out of a sacred idol. Kashmira Pradeshi is the leading lady for the film which has music scored by little maestro Yuvan Shankar Raja.

Actor Amithash is Rockstar Anirudh's cousin. Hence, Anirudh has sung a song in this film which marks his first collaboration ever with Yuvan Shankar Raja. The duo's song 'Adiyaathi' is a chartbuster hit. It has cinematography by S Pandikumar, editing by Nagooran Ramachandran with stunts by Dinesh Subbarayan.
