Sarath Kumar is eagerly awaiting the release of '1977'. Featuring Sarath Kumar in dual roles, the movie directed by G N Dinesh Kumar will be hitting the screens soon.

Speaking about the film, Dinesh Kumar, says, '1977 is one movie that would match the standards of Hollywood films. Based on a real incident that happened in Tamilnadu, the movie has been shot in a stylish manner with Sarath Kumar donning six different looks'.

Namitha, Farzana, the two heroines have played their part well. Namitha dons the role of an advocate while Farzana falls in love with Sarath Kumar.

"I am a great admirer of Sarath and I have presented him with a James Bond look in my film", he says and adds, ' music by Vidyasagar will give fillip to the whole project. I am hopeful that 1977 would be one movie that would be entertaining and astounding'.
