Sarath Kumar withdrew his resignation letter.

He resigned from the secretary post of Nadigar sangham on the grounds that he was not consulted on many issues by the President Vijaykanth. In a patch up bid he has agreed to withdraw the resignation and cooperate with the Star nite in the Gulf to raise funds for the Nadigar sangham building.

The reason for the resignation is Vijaykanth working on his own proposal and rejecting a proposal from Sarath kumar. Sarath Kumar had put forth a proposal from HLL that it will give Rs 10 crores if the top stars endorse their products for two years. HLL wanted only five top heroes and 2 heroines to endorse. This move was scuttled by Vijaykanth and instead opted for Khaja Moideen’s star nite proposal in Gulf.
