Sarath Kumar speaks on Pazhassi Raja

A popular Tamil actor Sarath Kumar is now foraying to Malayalam with Pazhassi Raja. He has donned the role of the lieutenant to Pazhassi Raja in the movie. The movie witnesses the coming together of M T Vasudevan Nair and Hariharan.

On accepting to act in a Malayalam film, the president of South India Film Artistes Association, Sarath Kumar says, “I was moved by the story. Pazhassi Raja had fought the Britishers even before the 1857 Sepoy Mutiny. To be part of such an engrossing tale is a great feeling”.

Sarath Kumar had acted in several Telugu films at the beginning of his career. On being part of a Mammootty film, he says, “He is a talented actor. To share the screen with him is a great joy”.

The movie stars Mammootty in the title role. The cast includes Kanika and Padmapriya. Music is by Ilayaraja.
