Refuting charges made against him by Nasser, South Indian Film Artistes' Association president R Sarathkumar has said rules were followed in all activities of the Nadigar Sangam.

In a letter, he said that a decision to construct a theatre complex in Nadigar Sangam premises was taken with the consent of members and he had enough proof to validate his claim.

Sarath said since the matter is in the court, the building would be constructed after proper clearance. He also urged Nasser and others to come out with a better alternative plan, which could generate more revenue to the association.
