Sarangapani Jathakam: Sanchari is a healing 'viraha geetham'

Viraha Geetham (Separation Song) is a separate genre in our cinema. Classics like ANR's 'Devadas' have romanticized the genre. Director Mohanakrishna Indraganti deploys this dimension in 'Sarangapani Jathakam', his latest movie made as a family entertainer.
Lyricist Ramajogayya Sastry and singer Sanjith Hegde marshal their talents to make 'Sanchari Sanchari' a memorable experience. The Separation Song of the Year is tuned by the formidably talented Vivek Sagar, whose new-age approach helps the song steer clear of routineness. Priyadarshi and Roopa Koduvayur play the lead roles.
Describing the song as one of his most favourites, director Indraganti says that its arrival in the film alters the course of the story. It intensifies Sarangapani's desire to win her back and motivates him to face the final obstacle. This song holds great significance in the story, the director adds.
The film also features talented actors Srinivas Avasarala, VK Naresh, Vennela Kishore and Tanikella Bharani. Sivalenka Krishna Prasad is producing the film under the Sridevi Movies banner. The director-producer duo earlier made Gentleman with Nani and Sammohanam with Sudheer Babu. PG Vinda is the Director of Photography.
Sarangapani Jathakam is going to hit the screens on December 20.
