Saranya, daughter of veteran director K Bhagyaraj, who is making her debut in silver screen with Parijatham finally opens out.

Talking about her debut venture, Saranya says, ' I am fortunate to make my debut under the hands of my father who is known for giving engrossing entertainers'.

Acting opposite Prithviraj, Saranya recently shot for a couple of song sequences in London.

Speaking about the experiences, she says, 'my dad was preoccupied with post production works and gave us tips on how to shoot the songs'.

About making her entry with a heroine-centric role, Saranya says, 'heroines have a major role to play in all my dad's films. I think I suit the character well in Parijatham.'

About glamour, Saranya says, 'what's wrong in playing glamour roles. I am ready for it but within limits'.
