Sara humorously mentions common ex-boyfriends at the start of the promo, setting the tone for their interaction. When queried about the purported relationship with cricketer Shubman Gill, Sara humorously clarifies the mix-up, hinting at a different Sara.

Ananya almost confirmed her relationship with actor Aditya Roy Kapur by mentioning 'aashiqui' when prompted about managing her nights, alluding to his projects. Sara and Ananya's lighthearted banter includes references to co-stars and roles they've been associated with.

Sara Ali Khan made her Koffee With Karan debut in season 6 in 2018, appearing on the show with her father, Saif Ali Khan. Her entrance to the show was just before her film debut in 'Kedarnath.'

Similarly, Ananya Panday made her first appearance on the show in 2019 during Koffee With Karan season 6, accompanied by Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria prior to the release of 'Student of the Year 2.'

Last year, both Sara and Ananya were separately featured in the previous season of the show, each accompanied by different guests. Sara was paired with Janhvi Kapoor, and Ananya appeared alongside Vijay Deverakonda, her co-star from the film 'Liger.'
