'Saptagiri Express', claim trade sources, on the first day collected Rs. 2.5 cr (Gross). Released in 300 theatres across the Telugu States, it is very impressive for a comedy hero's movie.

The figures indicate that Saptagiri has passed the litmus test with his very debut as lead. It's an encouraging debut for the producer, Dr. Ravi Kiran, too.

The audience seem to have lapped up the comedy episodes involving Saptagiri, Shakalaka Shankar, Ali and Posani.
