Saptagiri's litmus test begins

Today is that important day for Saptagiri when he tests his luck after getting promoted to the status of a hero. 'Saptagiri Express', produced by a homeopathy doc, happened to the comedian rather fortuitously. To cut a long story short, Saptagiri has been the doctor's patient for 4 years, during which time they became friends. Cut to 2017, the doc turned into a producer, elevating Saptagiri.
The self-made comedian entered the industry with the aim of becoming a filmmaker. It was director Bhaskar who saw the comic streak in him and made him play a cameo in 'Bommarillu' and a full-fledged comic act in 'Parugu'. He has since grown up to become one of the busiest comedians.
However, as he admits, playing the same kind of roles has of late created boredom in him. He hopes that the hero's avatar will herald a healthy change in his career graph. Let's see whether Saptagiri succeeds as a hero, a la Sunil.
