Talented young actors Sanya Malhotra and Abhimanyu Dassani are going to share screen in their soon to be released film 'Meenakshi Sundareshwar'. The duo will be seen portraying a South Indian couple in this romantic drama. Trailer of the film was released recently and it promises a new age love story with a fresh concept.

The trailer shows Sanya and Abhimanyu as a newlywed couple who seem quite understanding and accepting of each others personalities. Things take a turn when Abhimanyu is compelled to shift to Banglore for his job and Sanya gets stuck at Madurai. The film is centered around how they overcome the challenges to make their long distance marriage work. The story seems to be more character driven rather than plot driven for the most part.

Sharing the trailer on Instagram, producer Karan Johar wrote, “All ‘hearts’ on deck - it’s time to root for this power couple to make it through the distance! This Diwali, gather around to watch #MeenakshiSundareshwar coming to Netflix on November 5."
