Sanusha, the ‘Renigunta’ and ‘Eththan’ girl, is going great guns. She has become the heroine of ‘Shylu’, the Kannada remake of 2010 Kollywood hit ‘Mynaa’. The shooting will start in Bengaluru on June 24.

Interestingly, it was Amala Paul, the heroine of ‘Mynaa’, who was approached to repeat her role in Sandalwood too. However, the offer has now landed in Sanusha’s kitty for reasons unspecified.

“Sanusha is happy that she has got to do a meaty role. She has watched Mynaa and admired the performance of everyone, including Amala Paul. But never she thought that she would be part of the film’s remake,” circles close to her say.

‘Shylu’ will be produced by K Manju and directed by S Narayan. Leading Kannada actor Ganesh will be the protagonist, a role played beautifully in Tamil by Vidharth. In the meantime, director Prabhu Solomon is planning to make ‘Mynaa’ in Bollywood.
