Only recently did Amala Paul have to bear the brunt of harassment from a man. Now Tamil actress Sanusha seems to be the new victim.

Sanusha was travelling by train on Wednesday night when a man tried to grope her. According to her statements to the media, she felt someone touch her lips following which she caught the hand of the man and turned on the lights. Sanusha also stated that she stood her ground until the police came and took away the perpetrator. She also expressed her anguish that, but for a few commuters, no one came forward to help her.

Stating that she had the support of her family for the ensuing legal process, the actress also advised women and girls to react immediately and to not delay action in such circumstances. The Thrissur Railway police had registered a case against the culprit and found that the man was over 40 years of age hailing from Kanyakumari.
