Santosh Sivan's "Urumi" gained a lot of praises and respect from the peers of the Tamil cinema and also won many prestigious awards. The director's next venture is to be titled "Ceylon".

Contrary to what comes to our mind, "Ceylon" is not a film about the LTTE. It is a story of a young man caught up in the middle of the Civil war in Sri Lanka and the struggles he goes through. The cast for "Ceylon" hasn't been decided yet though we hear that Vishal Chandrashekar will be playing his debut music in this film. "Ceylon" might also get lucky enough to have Santosh Sivan himself handle the camera for the film.
