Superstar Rajnikanth, who was last seen in dual looks in the Karthik Subbaraj directorial Petta, also starring Trisha, Simran and Vijay Sethupathi, is currently busy shooting for his 167th movie, Darbar directed by AR Murugadoss and produced by Lyca Productions.

Darbar is being filmed in Mumbai and the movie has music by Anirudh again after Petta's charbuster album, and renowned cinematographer Santhosh Sivan works with AR Murugadoss after Thuppaaki and Spyder. Now, the cinematographer has expressed his feeling of filming the Superstar, on Twitter.

Santhosh Sivan tweeted "Rajni sir is awesome - his energy makes him younger. filming him after Thalapathi". Santosh Sivan is working with Superstar 28 years after the release of Thalapathi by Maniratnam, in Darbar. Darbar also stars Nayanthara, Nivetha Thomas, Sunil Shetty, Yogi Babu and Preteik Babbar.
