After the success of Vallavanukku Pullum Aayudham`, Santhanam returns as hero in Inimey Ippadithaan`, which he also produced under his banner Handmade Films and has entrusted the direction to his friends Prem Anand and Murugan who have assumed the screen name Muruganand. Ashna Zaveri and Akila Kishore are the two heroines of the film.

According to the directors, Santhanam plays the role of a jobless youth whose only ambition in life is to marry a beautiful girl and the rest of the story is how he achieves that with the help of a love guru played by VTV Ganesh. Santhanam had promised way back during the Lollu Saba days that he would produce a film for the director duo and the two were moved when the comedy superstar kept his word and facilitated their debut with Inimey Ippadithaan`. Muruganand assure us that this is an out and out commercial entertainer with a high dosage of comedy in it.
