Actor Santhanam is presently shooting for 'Odi Odi Uzhaikkanum' and he will start shooting for his film with director Selvaraghavan later this week.

The super hit success of the horror-comedy flick 'Dhillukku Dhuttu' has strengthened his position as a hero in Tamil commercial films. The erstwhile comedian has a few exciting projects in his kitty as a hero.

Santhanam has completed shooting for the film 'Server Sundaram' directed by debutant Anand Balki. The film is all about the life of a Five Star Hotel Chef played by Santhanam. He even underwent training to portray this character.

Vaibhavi Shandilya makes her Kollywood debut playing the female lead in this film. Santhosh Narayanan has rendered the music score for this film.

Now it has been revealed that the makers plan to release 'Server Sundaram' for Pongal festival in January 2017. If this is true, Santhanam will have a box office clash with two star heroes with whom he has acted as the lead comedian in many films.

Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Bairavaa' and Vishal's 'Kaththi Sandai' are also scheduled for a Pongal release.
