Santhanam to Reportedly Join Simbu’s Next Film – With a Whopping Salary?

Actor Santhanam, who has been focusing exclusively on lead roles in recent years, is now rumored to be making a notable return in an important role in Simbu’s upcoming film. Buzz on social media also suggests that he’s being offered a hefty paycheck for the project.

The film in question is Simbu’s 49th, directed by Parking fame Ramkumar Balakrishnan. The project was officially announced as part of the birthday celebrations for Simbu, where three of his upcoming films were revealed. With pre-production already underway, the casting details are slowly emerging.

According to reports, Kayadu Lohar and Mamita Baiju are being considered for the female leads. The biggest surprise, however, is the rumored casting of Santhanam—marking a potential comeback to ensemble roles alongside big stars. Though it’s speculated that he will be receiving a salary of around ?7 crore for the role, there has been no official confirmation regarding the amount.

Adding to the excitement, Simbu recently announced on social media that Sai Abhyankkar will be composing the music for the film, and that the work on the soundtrack has already begun.
