We already reported to you that Model turned actress Tanya Hope who marked her Tamil debut by pairing with Arun Vijay in Magizh Thirumeni's 'Thadam' is roped in to play the lead in Santhanam's first trilingual film directed by popular Kannada director Prashant Raj.
Director Prashant has opened up about the role played by the lead pair in the movie. “I first met Santhanam in December last year. Within a month, things fell in place and we have already rolled out the project now,” said Prashant, who has helmed Love Guru, Gaana Bajaana, Whistle, and Zoom, among others, in Kannada.
Talking about the film he said “The film will show Santhanam in a new avatar. I can confidently say that this is a character he has not done before. The script is tailor-made for him and only he can pull it off. He plays someone who works in a corporate that is into ad-making and other things like that. The way he tackles his clients and gets the job done — that trait will resonate with today’s working professionals. His character handles things smoothly,” he says, adding, “If Santhanam’s character is a smart worker, Tanya Hope plays a character that’s bang opposite. She’s a hard worker. Both my leads are competitors.”
The film will be made in Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. “Ragini Dwivedi also plays a solid character. We also have Bhagyaraj, Senthil, Kovai Sarala, Manobala and Brahmanandam in the film. In fact, we are giving Senthil a new look, and are pushing him to dance as well,” he informs, “We are planning to shoot in Chennai, Bangkok, and London.”
